    First, I searched. Couldn’t find this topic. My Ham radio is mounted behind my back seat on the passenger side. My antenna mount is on the passenger side at the back of the hood. My cable is 13.5’ long, so I can’t go through on the drivers side. Any suggestions on how to go through the firewall (or floor ) on the passenger side? Thanks!

    There should be a rubber grommet/plug on passage side floor. That's where most run their PopNLock wires thru for their tailgate locks

    @TroyFJ

    I ran my 2m antenna cable through the firewall grommet shown in @TRDCal 's attachment, starting at 15:30 like he said. Quick and easy. :thumbsup:

    Here's a couple photos of the Victory 4x4 VT3CB-BARE antenna mount. I highly recommend this. :cool:

    It almost looks like it came that way. Stealthy.

    Thanks, I’ll make that work. I bought a cable that already has an end on it, so the nipple solution doesn’t seem like a big enough hole. Maybe the floor grommet

    I have exactly that mount. It is clean! Unfortunately, I bought my antenna first, it is PL-259, so I have an adapter on the way

    Damn, that looks great! 2m as in ham, or the coax is 2 meters long? Or is that for better AM/FM receive, cos I've heard the shark fin sucks.

    I got this cable. Much thinner, looks harder to solder.

    I think the SMA connector will fit nicely through the passenger side cable gland "nipple"...

    2 meter as in Ham. Actually I use mine for scanning Railroad frequencies, with a 1/4 wave length 2 meter Ham antenna.
    (Rail fanning is one of my hobbies.)

    I ran my antenna cable through the grommet where the A/C drip line is located on the passenger side. I just pushed/lifted the A/C drip hose out of the way with a large screwdriver and fed the antenna cable through.

    Looks clean. I imagine you'll be limited on TX power with the close RF exposure though. I'm wondering if there's antenna options that don't require a ground plane that would be best for that type of install. I'm thinking of installing 2 of those, one on each side, one for an AM / FM antenna to the head unit, and another as a scanner antenna.
