I can’t see the top of the braided lines. But, as my helper was pumping the pedal, I could see fluid building up around the black bearing seal a bit more with each stroke.

Received mine a few weeks ago and I’m planning to install. Hopefully it’s not an issue leaking. Sorry that happened to you...

can you sneak a endoscope in there to see if the if its the fittings that are leaking ? I hope thats the case, otherwise us that have this installed are rolling on a ticking time bomb. good thing I didn't throw away my URD hydrobearing kit...

Best pic I can muster with the scope. But, the top of the bearing is dry.
I'm noting obvious distortion to the rubber seal/boot which is where the leak is coming from.

See how fat the black seal looks on mine compared to yours?

Looks like it didn't get seated all the way when it was assembled. Might be the camera angle (I just used my phone) but it looks like your bearing has less air gap than mine as well.

Do you have any vibrations or other drivability problems besides the noise? That doesnt sound good..

Nah, it drives great. Clutch feels good. There is some vibration. I'm just worried they gobbed grease or something all over it like they did the interior. Or didn't torque the flywheel bolts. Or any number of other simple fkups.

I called and talked to them this morning to order me one. I gave the thousands questions I had and was great help to me. I haven't gotten any emails back from them in a month.

Well, Kevin responded to my email. Says he's sending me a seal kit for it. Can't say that I'm pleased with this decision. I'd much rather have a new unit to install. I can send the bad one back to them after I swap it. They can do the re-sealing of it. Damn thing didn't last 2000 miles.

Between this problem and them giving me the incorrect flywheel step specs, I feel a bit foolish even considering using their stuff. Am I crazy? Do they deserve the benefit of the doubt?

You're not crazy after everything you've had to deal with and I think they should have sent you another unit or done something to make things right. Standing behind their product a bit more. It's unfortunate it's so labor intensive to deal with installing and/or fixing their product and they should take that into account when their product fails when it shouldn't.
