Well brother has errands and stuff to do on Wednesday, looks like I'm going solo tomorrow.

We've played in the Sonoran Desert National Monument several times, usually right above the Barry Goldwater range and we always find containers with water hidden under shady spots and one time, two kids back packs with toothbrushes, toothpaste a change of cloths and all of 100 peso in coins in them obviously dumped quickly when they had to run from ICE. Great area. Usually the only people we see for weeks at a time are border patrol people...an A10 Wathogs screaming overhead, turning south and strafing the crap out the range. Cool as shit

I replaced my catalytic converter heat shield with license plates after it rattled to death and fell off. Box of 50 pop rivets and a lil blood did the trick. Heat shield hasn't rattled since.

 

I make 'em the easy/lazy way...whisky, tsp of sugar, and a few drops of orange bitters. If I'm feeling fancy I'll buy a jar of maraschino cherries and put one in but the legit ones are $$. Like 30 bucks for a small jar of them.

 

That sounds close enough to me


I'm still dialing in what I like but I am doing 2oz Rye, 1 teaspoon homemade simple syrup, 3 dash bitters, and orange peel

 

Sam's Club sells big jars of them, with the stems on. Wife and I use them to make homemade chocolate covered cherries for the holidays.

 

Whatever dullard welded the replacement exhaust on my truck put the cat in with the heatshield side facing the body :/
