    I’m running stock.
So I really can’t help on personal experience with after market parts.

But if you are packing dirt bikes.
Watch the tailgate. It isn’t known to be the strongest.
    It can bend pretty easy.

Search “Tailgate Reinforcement” for many differ options.

    And Welcome to TW!

im wondering how people are "bending" the tail gate, since ive loaded my quad and bike many times without issues.

There really isn’t any “stand alone” reinforcement inside the tailgate.
The integrity is pretty much dependent on the the bends of the bottom and top of the tail gate.
The middle supports are just stamped sheet metal tabs bent over. They don’t do much.

Think of it as a coke can, Press down on the can. It holds a lot of weight, but if you dent or press in on the side of the can while pressing down, it will “bend” or crush much more easily.

Basically it comes down to weight in a “single or small” area.
The biggest thing to watch for is dropping anything on or against the Tailgate.

Here is a picture I pulled of the inter web for “reference”

You gonna lift it? what are your plans....heavy off roading or casual?

Im about to replace my suspension, parts are on the way... planning to throw a 3" eibach pro lift on while I'm at it since I'll ripping it all apart anyway. Been stock for 175k lol used and abused the stock setup finally upgrading a bit.

Yes I plan to lift it. Done a lot of research and looked through a lot of the forums here. That's how I came about my 5100's.
I plan to add some 855 coils for the front and OME Dakar Leaf Packs. Should provide me with about 2.5" of lift all around.

I would say my off-road use is more moderate than casual but definitely not heavy.

Wanted to upgrade my suspension just enough to improve my ride quality and off road use and am glad with the results thus far.

I've hear great things about Eibach, nice work! Post pictures of your before and after!

Yep that list should do you right for and give you that 2.5”. Im sure you meant *885 coils. Tons of happy peeps on here with the setup.

I’d be putting on the 5100s too but I can save $200 on the Eibachs for the cost of shipping (I’m in Hawaii) so that’s why I’m going Eibach. I’m in the same boat with the lift- not trying to go crazy just need a little more clearance. I just got new leafs from the recall so throwing on a 1” AAL. Gonna grab some JBA UCAs too, my stock ball joint is shot anyway.

Good luck with the build! and welcome to TW. I been here a while researching and reading (“lurking”) love this forum this place has saved my arse a bunch of times over the years
