I’ve used the puddle lights as makeshift rock / trail lights.. it’s been useful

Impressive job with the color of the light, that OEM color is not easy to find. I was able to take the switch apart and put a small piece of tint inside to dim that light just a bit and it's pretty close to the OEM, another great product @MESO

well this picture confirms something I was curious about, that rear window switch lights up blue. I got one out of a tundra to do my own sliding power rear window install and I’ve only gotten it to light up green or red but that was from me jumping wires. Still don’t have a motor so not sure what my end result will be, hopefully it lights up blue like yours. There’s only 1 part number for that switch so fingers crossed.

Somehow I'd screwed up. The illumination on the puddle light switch is constantly on, except when the truck is off. I have the version 1 of T harness and had used the method 1 install option from Meso recommendation.

If anyone is interested, I have a set of these I am going to post in the for sale section soon. They are seriously well built. Meso makes the best stuff.

Black badges, TRD pro grill, clazzio seat covers, falken wild peaks AT3W 265 70R17, Fuel Trophy wheels, taco tunes 10" sub and Jl Audio all around speaker upgrades, dynamat doors and interior, Meso's interior lights, gasshole, waterproof led bed lights, headstrong progressive leaf pack, bilstein 5100's with OME 887 coils, ecgs bushing, nfab nerf bars, cbi t3 aluminum bumper
I have the first release of the puddle lights and got a wild hair yesterday and ordered the switch for the lights- I assumed it was a plug and play but haven’t done much reading to see if that’s true or not -

Anyone willing to share what I will need to do? Any videos out there?

It is plug in play except for the illumination of the switch which is pretty simple to do.

Package arrived at lunch time and I had the switch installed in about 15 minutes. I have a gen 2 setup so installation was easy peasy.

The colour and brightness of the switch is actually pretty close to my modded ch4x4 ditch light switch.

Hey, for anyone Installing the switch / puddle lights, u can pop the plastic Christmas tree off the OEM connector and move it to the Meso connector. Then you'll have the plug retention to the pillar and the zip tie retention can clip back on the the bracket and look OEM and organized.

Yea, I'd want to know how you did that as well. Where did you find a small piece of tint to alter the lumens?
