Poor little guy. At least he’s lucky enough to have someone that cares so much about him. Hopefully when he’s healed he will be able to hump like never before

You can't put a price on the love of a good dog. Pet insurance will reimburse a good chunk of it so that will make it a little less stressful.

Ask my wife, she’ll tell you how I feel about it :D we have two completely different views on animals. It’s all in how we were raised.

Buy an irrigation valve box, dig a hole in your yard, set box, rake/shovel excrement into said box (I also put in grass clippings for variety) and let it compost.
I don’t know how well it works but I’ve read on several different blogs that the large boxes work great for long term and large dogs, one person said that she used a large box and had 2 labs and after 2 years it was slightly more than half full.
There’s also the option of doing something similar but with a buried 55 gallon drum and PVC pipe coming out of the ground as a full port.

If you use the chemical helper, do not let the dogs eat that shit!

    Good warning, I forgot that.
It’s hot/humid enough here that I doubt I would need a chemical helper.

I've heard of the plastic drum set up before. I imagine in the heat of the summer, the aroma could be overwhelming when it is opened.

A little of this and a little of that.
    This is Bella.

Terrier mix, and only has one eye.

She was in a scuffle with another dog and her left eye was damaged to the point that they took it out and sewed over the socket.

The people that originally had her left her, abandoned her, at the Veterinary hospital and she was there for five months!

My wife had seen her there shortly after she got there, but was told that she had a new home to go to. Well, it fell through and my wife was at the Veterinarian with our cat months later and gave me a call.

I call her Bella, the one eyed wonder dog!
