Worlds different the tacoma is a simple yes or no

The 4 runner one is a yes no or maybe but you cant say yes after no or no after yes you can only go from yes/no to no/yes if you say maybe between

getting antsy waiting for some heavy rain to take my taco for a sweet ride to see and document results of the CorrosionX HD applied to passenger side frame area
inspected with LED flashlight (those suck!) but appears to be stuck good still, perhaps halogen light up can show if any barren spots, its supposed to be self healing stuff

but this winter has been one of THE mildest and void of significant snow here locally in at least the past 20 years
i cannot really test the durability and validity of this stuff sprayed if NO water to splashy through and get it kicked all back on up in there!

idk, the directions say it needs a solvent or something of the sort to thoroughly remove it :notsure:
that right there sounds hardcore 2 me

but i need a natural heavy rain environment for best results untainted
    put it into action

slapped in some ECGS thirds this last weekend with lockers.

Didn't know that the non ADD front diff doesn't have a stub shaft. Just the intermediate shaft. Interesting....
Yes I know that the manual hub CV's are weaker, but I wonder if not having a stub shaft between the intermediate and diff is stronger. At least now I know I don't have a stub shaft to break lol. Not curious enough to tear it apart and measure stuff.

Alright. So my retro fits that i bought a few years ago yellowed out. Did my best to sand and clear. Was alright for a few years but they did spider web on my last respray. I was in an accident recently and had one tab break. Still ok since im good with zip ties. I just had 1 bulb go out last week so i ordered thru Amazon and they suck balls. Sent me the wrong shit. Anyways. Im tempted to to get new headlights and LEDs ....almost ordered HIDs but i remember cursing at a motherfucker last week as he/she approached me on a back road last week. Anyways....my headlights are fucked and i dont feel like spending 500 on a new set of lights. Opinions? Thoughts? Should i trash these and go the cheap route? I have good lighting as far as offroad goes

Did a 5 tire rotation today. The second time on this set.

Also, installed a set of Diode Dynamics SS3, street legal (SAE rated), fog lights.

These things are very bright, and cast an amazing pattern. Vertically very narrow and very, very wide. Love the selective yellow.

Just get some CAPA certified aftermarket lights, do the "ULTIMATE HALOGEN" upgrade (supplemental wiring to the lights) and put in 100W halogen bulbs like I have. They are more than good enough for several years, low maintenance, low risk.

    sports

No comparison at all. The others were just floods. At 6K kelvin, and covered up by amber covers, they put out almost no usable light. All they were good for is as 'look at me' lights, aka, daytime running lights.

Its all about the lens and reflector technology in these. Easily 10x on the amount of light in the pattern, but it is the pattern that makes them special.
