My Grandma was married at 19, and had her first kid at 20! But, I see where you're coming from...

Just recently the alternator shit the bed on the Dakota, I found one at the Junkyard for $20 but he paid over $200 for one at the parts store! I am blue in the face telling him not to buy expensive stuff cause its a salvage and will never be worth anything.

It would be worth for parts than in one piece!

He has literally spent thousands on parts so far, that's so frustrating because he could have purchased a clean title truck in good shape for what he paid for this one plus parts cost and not even adding in countless hours of labor.

2004, I believe it was the last year of that generation.

At least it wasn't a newer one...

Why didn't he buy a clean title Dakota? Those are decent trucks!

    This body style?

Right, I probably would have been ok with that choice if it was a clean truck and not a previous Salvage. He is looking at big 2500 and 3500 trucks now and keep coming up with more of the same type of junky choices.

Yep. The camper is way too large and has a 5th wheel hitch, he didn't take into account how he was ever going to move it so now looking at big trucks.

It’s getting there. My wife and kid come in tomorrow. Hanging the TV was the last thing I do above the ground level. I’m not decorating or picking furniture or unpacking. I got the ground floor. She has everything else. On my floor I have a big entertainment room, bathroom, bedroom, and garage.

I love your house, but one thing I still don't get is why it has an electric stove when it clearly has gas heat and a gas fireplace...?

Are you going to turn your garage into a "Garage Majal" like my uncle helped my dad and me do with our garage?

How in the hell did the Dakota end up with a salvage title to begin with? It couldn't have been too horribly disfigured if someone managed to get it back on the road prior to your ex-GF's kid buying it...

My whole down stairs is my oasis. But there will be no parking of cars in my garage. It will be my workshop.

If that stove ever breaks, replace it with a gas stove!
