Serious question. Do you think it was just a snow barrier that melted or got shoveled or was there some other barrier there?

My two cat dogs shed so much I have to run my roomba daily. It’s nuts. Between their hair and the wife’s hair I’ve just given up trying to lint roll.

Right now, it's hard to get lost. Go in Rock Creek Rd from the south (Dinkey Creek) side, and take Rock Creek until the obvious signs for Bald Mountain. (Rock Creek Rd is closed just past the turnoff to Bald Mountain anyway.) There are tracks to follow all the way up, the only thing you really have to do is bear left at the split about half a mile in from the start.

In the summer, it's a giant open area and it's pretty easy to get pointed in the wrong direction.

If you have GPX track to follow or an app with the MVUM on it, that should make your life easier too.

It's 99% Jake's white hair. It doesn't take many trips before it's everywhere. I think I'm going to make him wear a t-shirt in the new truck. That should cut down quite a bit.

Might be a few more days to camp here. :) Hiked three miles from home to camp with Repo pup, we stayed in a sunny site, no snow.

Thank you, not much, but close to home. Three CG's within four miles of me. The furthest I have camped at in December a few years back, first time for that so early. Makes hanging out by a fire long, waiting for 8 or 9 to roll around before hitting the sleeping bag, hate going to bed so early as 7 doesn't roll around soon enough to see by. Winter nights are too long.

Going to add a couple more stickers I received today to my rear window. May have to eliminate some other stickers so I don't get pulled over for obscuring my rear window. Getting to be like those areas on travel trailers that have stickers from states they have been to.
