    Hello,
    I bought a 2020 Tacoma SR5 DoubleCab (5' bed) Saturday in Barcelona Red. I had to wait a week for the dealer to transfer one to local site. I reside in North Carolina (Yankee Transplant). I have had 2 trucks first was a used Mid 90s Dodge Dakota 4x4 which was decent vehicle, second one was a turd 1999 Ford Ranger. After the Ranger, I got a used 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited in 2010. the Jeep was very reliable until recently, I put 140k on it but it was starting to nickle and dime me. I decided bite the bullet and get something for the next 10-20 years.

    I don't drive off road, the Tacoma is primarily a transportation appliance. I work from home, and go into office once a week or less. Primary reason getting the Tacoma was how they hold their value compared to US pickups and longevity. I will have to get a set of nerf bars or running boards, my wife is 5'3". Other interests are sport shooting (idpa/local 2 and 3 gun matches). I initially was going to to get the access cab but I watched that Fred Anderson review on yt and realized I could fit my gun cart in the back seat area. I also like to play mid to late 80's metal, I run 2 Line6 spider valves (MKI and MKII).

    I will likely lurk for awhile, as I am going thru the owners manual, the EDR being available to LE was kind of disturbing prompted me to join a Taco forum.

    Thanks, I gave it to my youngest brother in 2014 when I got a 2014 Mustang GT Premium with the Track Pack. He will drive it more than I was.
