I actually really like them. They don't add as much light as I thought they would but it is a massive improvement over stock. They are the SAE ones so you cant expect them to turn night into day but they are really nice to have over stock.

Tell that to all the 2nd gen owners on here whose trucks look better than yours. There’s no need to be rude.

I'd be seeing red. Glad you got it before damage was done.

Quick question not deserving of a thread:
If I get new wheels that are the same size as the stock ones, with more offset, amigo if to run into issues with having to trim stuff? Wheels in question are SCS F5s, -25 offset. 16x8 wheel. The old wheels are also 16x8s, but a +30 offset.

No. I have the same specs but the Stealth 6. Ran them with 265/75r16 before my 33’s with no rubbing.

Good to know, but I’m on 33s.... is that going to rub? Shoulda mentioned my tire size to begin with

    Edit: I’m confused. Isn’t a 265/75r16 a 33?

Edit edit: I have 285s not 265s. Idk how I managed to type the wrong number that many times.

Great looking truck man! Is it just me or does that look like the normal width for these trucks? Every long travel taco I've seen looks like its 2' wider in the front, lol. I really like the look of this. Can you tell me what hardware you used for the fenders? I am about to trim mine and am thinking I'll do something like that.

The further the wheel sticks out the more cutting required.

I figured, but I’m trying to get an idea how much cutting. I don’t rub at all with 33s and stock wheels, except on the uca at full turn. Hoping the offset will fix that.

Definitely gonna rub with that offset on 33s. A cmc is likely in your future if you haven't already done so. When you install the new wheels, you'll know for sure.

I have a pretty serious cmc with 285/75r16. 285’s are 33’s. 265’s are 31’s. You will need to do lots of trimming and a cmc for 285’s.

I i go with a 0 offset instead of the -25, would i still have to worry about rubbing? Anybody have pictures of the SCS F5 0 offset on a 2nd gen?
