So here's my update, ARB Tech Casey "supervisor/manager" still has not gotten back to me with an update from ARB AU. I think they hope I'll go away. So I've taken it upon myself to get ahold of them, ive gotten ahold of a dealer/distributor in Australia that is more than willing to pass on my info. His recommendation is if you have an issue with arb us. is to contact arb au. On a funny note a dealer for another well know leaf pack manufacturer is working with me to get a different leaf pack with a discount and in return they want to use the pictures I've already taken to use to promote their leaf packs.

Why don't you put in an AAL and be done?

Because I shouldn't need to put in a AAL their only 14months old. And appears that ARB is known for refusing warranty work on anything suspension related.

Seems like 3rd geners have nothing but issues with OME setups unless you get the stiff 860 springs. Should be picking up my new tacoma in the next week or so when it arrives on the lot and originally was thinking OME for about a 2.5" lift but seems like that is a bad idea. Probably gonna pick up some Dobinsons C59-314 springs on 5100 shocks on the lowest setting should net me about 2.2" and hopefully stay with out much sag / droop. Don't plan on adding any weight to the front. May consider 860s but seems like the ride will be pretty stiff.

Why would you consider 886s when you don't plan on adding any weight? 885s or 887s seem better suited.

Because they will sag overtime... Like I said, tons of people seem to have issues with OME.

Any spring will sag over time, it's a consumable item.

Years yes, 6 months is unacceptable. Like I said issues.

I can only speak from my own experience with them in which they didn't sag in months but if "tons" of people "seem" to have issues, you best steer clear of them

@TXTRDOR How much sag do you get in the rear with weight in the bed? This is the setup I am looking at but when I go out camping and on trails I have about 400-500lbs in the bed. I'm on the fence with heavys or meds.

So I just got the "OK" from the wife to spend some money on the truck.
I like the idea of BP-51's but dont wheel enough to justify that kinda of suspension.
Stock 2016 truck in central Florida with little wheeling. Like the idea of doing more wheeling in the future.
I would like around 3" lift and was looking at the 888's with 90021 struts.
Should I do a sway bar relocation?
The 888's will net me close to 3", right?
I plan on getting a Diff drop and SPC Ball join UCA. Might just do the ECGS bushing while i have everything apart.
Is there anything else I might be missing? first time pulling the trigger on a big project. Big project to me atleast.

I wouldn't "think" about doing the ECGS bushing, that would be the first thing I'd order if your doing a lift. Some people dont need to change it for thousands of miles but with both of mine the factory bearing went out in under 200 miles, and as you said you'll have it 80% disassembled so might as well go all the way. As for sway bar relocation I couldn't tell you as that's the first thing to go on any vehicle I lift.

Removing it allows your suspension to articulate independently to its fullest extent offroad.

Diff drop isn't needed on 2nd or 3rd gens.

I'm looking to do a suspension refresh at 130K after getting my original OME setup on at 40. Where is the best place to get a good deal?

In addition to leaf springs, rear shocks, front coilovers... what else should I consider changing in the process? 2 new CV axles and new lower control arms?

    In my cart at Headstrong:

    Order.jpg

Planning to run 1/2" and 1/4" strut top spacers instead of the 886's (aluminum bumper with winch). Also switching from Total Chaos to SPC because of the noise.

Edit: Should I also get extended brake lines? I don't have them currently..
