Yeah, I would like store the hi lift inside my truck box, so a 48" wouldn't take up so much room as a 60".

I keep mine in my tool box, if it was a 60 it would not fix

It is very useful when camping and I love having the table when cooking but don't like having to work around it when I'm not camping. I actually made it to be easily removed when I don't need it.
I tool it off one day and just never reinstalled it.

I remember helping my dad change a tire on his ‘77 Nova with the factory hi lift. He told me to keep my face away from the handle or I’d be missing a few teeth. Lol. Hard to imagine that’s the kind of jack that all the old cars came with. Then they came out with the shitty corkscrew jacks in all the plastic cars.

You need to open a door and place it in the door opening when youi use it too. I have seen one kick out and bash a door in.

My kit is around $1600 shipped. Front coils and shocks assembled with new top hats, rear leaf packs and shocks, greaseable pins for the front and rear, bushings, u bolts and all that. Plus he’s throwing a free air compressor in with the deal. @Crikeymike can hook you up!

Hell yeah. Rides like a dream. Next steps are new tires/sensors (Matt is giving a good deal at Discount Tire (Falken AT-3's which I am running now), moving my dual battery system to a storage box that will be built where my spare tire carrier is, new UCAs and finally regearing/lockers. Plan to be done at that point aside from other minor mods and maintain the truck indefinitely that way. Hope to be done in about 3 months.

Just remember these jacks can be exceedingly dangerous and you really need to be careful with them. Look at my link here. We also used one to lift Scotty's truck in Moab when he broke his spider gears. When dropping it back down jack started to angle out and popped out away from truck when it was about at the bottom. I would recommend the 48 also. I also would never lift my truck by the sliders. I would use one of their attachments to hook up to back or front of truck.
