Houston is where most of my non-military friends have lived. Never heard a bad thing except that it’s built to flood.

San Antonio gets ragged on pretty bad tho.

I'm a truck driver and have been all over TX.

The only places I genuinely feared for my safety was when I was in Laredo or El Paso.

I always felt safe everywhere else there because I know how much Texans cherish their 2nd amendment. Helps to know there's conceal carry and not know who's concealing. But them border cities are craaaaazy.

    Who do you drive for?
Also El Paso is one of the safest cities in the country, Laredo is sketchy but not a lot of violence.

I didn’t think we’d make it out of one of the ubers alive. My damn head busted the ceiling at one point. Pretty sure it was Mario Andretti driving.

Right now I do local roll off work.

Back in the day I drove OTR for Swift, Western Express and Heartland.

And I dont know the city of El Paso as a whole... but the warehouses down by the border are really sketchy.

Honestly, UGA could close the gaps on a LOT of those categories pretty quickly, with the current state of affairs in each conference.

Loved Dallas and Fort Worth. Lived in Saginaw for a while. Family in Paradise now.

San Antonio was great while on the River Walk, but much outside of that, my small town midwestern ass got a bit sketched. Alamo was cool. Luckily we were staying at the Omni on the River Walk.

Houston smelled horrible when I was there. That's where Freddie 4Runner came from. I was told the smell is from the paper companies. 2 stars, dont want to go back.

McAllen is a border town. I've been told not to venture out without someone who is local. Even then, I was told to stay as far north as possible. I just stayed in the hotel. I go here at least once a year for work.

Corpus Christi is cool, a bit tourist driven now. Rockport is nice.

don't believe that's what he said...I think he said he has leverage on where he may wind up playing. similar to Eli Manning, he is allowed to say no. he is also worth quite a bit in teams eyes and he knows that, therefore it is in fact...leverage, right?

No, because he’ll get picked where he gets picked. Eli was, and still is, widely regarded as a huge douche for that.

He hasn’t even been to the combine yet. I wouldn’t want to play for Cincinnati either, but his “leverage” will be less dollars with that attitude if he falls in the draft. All of the bottom teams are crap, he’ll just make less money.

Also, saying he has leverage in where he plays is the same as having leverage in the draft process. He could get drafted and not sign, but it’s all the same in the end.

I'm just wondering how it's not "leverage" lol. Good or bad, douchey or not, it's leverage...

No. He has none. He can be a douche. That’s not leverage to anyone but you, which was predictable.
