This truck drives "spiritedly"? Wait...what year do you have?

I'm in a 17. my truck hops around like a rabbit and has lived about 1/3 of its life above 85-90. I'm the one around here that doesn't exist, according to all the ATs and most of the MTs. if you were local I'd invite you for a drive.

Well you see, if you give it more pedal and shift quicker, yes, you can drive spiritedly.

Not sure if this helps, but here's what my 1.05 93 FOB does

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhVJq16sTH8&feature=youtu.be

Does a burble at the limiter then slowly backs down to about 5700, then back up to the limiter. About 1/2 throttle at the first burble, floored through the second.

@OVTune I was able to test the rev limiter in 2nd gear this morning. Same thing happened that I observed with 1st gear: reaches the limit and doesn't bounce, there's no na-na-na, it just sits there and let's you keep it there as long as you want it looks like. There's no fuel cut and when I let off, I can either get back on the throttle or I can shift without issue. :notsure:

That is so strange that your limiter is lower than mine. I definitely hit 36mph then it gradually dropped to 34(6500rpm) where it would hold. Is there a progression as we go thru the years. Mziggy can hold at 6900ish. Mine goes to 6900 then drops to 6500, and yours only goes to 6200 then drops to 5700. So very strange

Hey so what would be the best available tune for 33's 2.5'' lift and a load in the truck? I've got a long drive coming up and want to have the tune in for a few hundred miles so its all set and ready to go.

Try them all and see what works for you.

I'm happy on 87 FOB, but that is just me.

I am on 87 FOB as well since I have a longer drive. Happy with it as well but still can't wait for 2.0

I run 91 FOB because I don't mind running 91 or 92 octane. Costco has 92 for example. Safeway 91. Really that FOB is the only OV tune I know so I cannot say anything about delta feels v. 87 octane.

I love the tune and love the fact it could be better but it sucks that it does the learning bullshit reversion crap and it sucks that I can't do 2.0 beta and it sucks that I just wait and wait and wait....

I have found the key to better MPG is bogging the Holy dead ghost out the engine seems to be fine. I can do my coldass frozen stop and go back suburban road drive with 25-40 mph curves and hills at 18 -18.5. MPG. Now during summer let's see if this pops to 20 mpg. This may be doable because knock sensors and 91 tune.
