I do have a brand new (in the box) Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator 3.0" Inlet/Outlet for sale. Also have the newest version of the URD Spec-U exhaust system mostly still in factory wraps for sale too. PM me if interested in either. Located in Portland Oregon.

Are the tubes worth the coin? I am really thinking of buying these.

That sounds pretty good. I was wondering how much noise they would add. Hows the driving?

    Driving seems much improved.
It’s much louder, not unbearable, but don’t hang out around 63-67 MPH. The 1400-1600 RPM range has a very loud drone.

and yes I do have a vibrant resonator.

I can't wait to get my dump tubes. OVT is expecting the shipment from their fabricator still. I've been chasing Mat up for monthly updates since I ordered.

I agree that driving is improved, power seems to be alot smoother.

I think in have a small exhaust leak with my catless dump tubes and Spec U.

I'm really happy with the sound not being too loud. Definitely kicks it up a notch when you floor it. Idle is very quiet.

I can’t find it. It’s bothering the shit out of me. I thought it was the V band.. I proved today it’s not that.

I guess I’ll get some new gaskets for where the tubes mount to the block and try that again.

Do you have the URD exhaust??

Just out of curiosity, how do you know for sure there is a leak? You can hear the ticking/hissing but can't pinpoint?
Try a long tube like a vacuum cleaner hose - one end on the exhaust gaskets, the other up to your ear and slowly move all around the exhaust junctures. Try not being in a garage - sounds muffle in a smaller garage. Test in your driveway.
If it makes a difference, I installed the catless tubes and reused the stock gaskets. No leaks. If you still have the stock gaskets, try reusing them. Maybe uninstall and throw on a thin bead of copper RTV on the very edge before reinstall. Good luck!

it’s only under a load it leaks, it’s like a vibrating / hissing sound.

I don’t hear it unless I’m driving and go heavy on the throttle.

I have the same vibrating / hissing sound at heavy throttle. My spec-u always had a bit of vibrating / hissing, but definitely got worse after I added the catted dump tubes. I’m guessing the added flow from the dump tubes amplified the noise. I think it’s the muffler that came with the spec-u that’s causing the noise because I can’t find a leak anywhere. I bought a different muffler a couple months ago to see if it fixes it. Just haven’t had a chance to swap it out yet.

Ive had magnaflow mufflers before. Never had an issue.

I really do hope it’s just a gasket. I’d hate to have to go back stock.

I’ve had magnaflow mufflers before as well without any issues. I’m just going through a process of elimination at this point. I already changed all the gaskets; inspected all the joints and welds for leak marks; pushed air through my exhaust and sprayed soapy water on the joints and there’s definitely no leaks. I’m thinking the last thing left is the muffler. I guess I’ll find out.

Damn. I may go ahead and run without the muffler and see if I hear that damn sound.

If it’s quiet, I’m going after URD.

you changed the metal gaskets on the block also?

Yes, I changed the metal gasket on the block and the 2 that connects to the y pipe. I changed it when I first installed the dump tubes and then changed them a second time trying to find a leak.
