For the price, I’d spend just one more day out of the bar and go with King’s. They’re not a bad coil over. Ride is decent and I’ve abused them heavily with no leaks, yet. One trip @EatSleepTacos and I were moving at a pretty good speed for a long time down a trail that was cycling the crap out of them. They got really hot but the ride quality didn’t seem to be any worse. The main issue is almost every single set I’ve purchased from them, something was wrong which isn’t good when they’re on the other side of the country and I have a truck on the post lift and the customer waiting in the shop.

Plot thickens. It only does it when it is cold. We have dropped into the teens the last few nights and the truck has been in the driveway. Seatbelt locks up and is stupid. By the afternoon, temps come up to around 40 and the seatbelt works fine....

There is a weight on a pendulum that locks your seat belt. Perhaps it needs to be lubricated or cleaned out? Sounds like the locking mechanism seizes up with the cold weather.

    Just a guess.

Yea, I was going to suggest some lubrication to help stop that premature stoppage.

Used to have an old F150 that would do this. Found out that the seat belt "reel" was getting wet and freezing. You might try pulling the seat belt all the way out and feeling the portion closest to the door pillar. If it's damp, then this is what is happening.
