If you like it that’s all that counts. I have Katzkin Leather in my truck and love it.

Installed these Katzkin's over 2 years ago. No issues and really pleased.

Best way to get hold of him is Facebook pm (Kylin Brimhall). He is a professional upholsterer, does very solid work and evens adds a much better pad for the armrest. His turn around time is usually really fast too.

 

Are they real genuine leather? I have the factory “leather” option on my Tacoma and I was told they aren’t genuine leather. Bastards!

I'm just about to hit 50k miles on my Katzkin seats (2016). They've been great. People are blown away by the quality still!
I condition them once or twice a year with Chemical Guys... and no kids, lol.

 

Basically genuine leather on the parts you sit on and lean against, but fancy vinyl everywhere else.

I stand corrected. That was a good read @Heepspo. Thanks for sharing that. Even though I love my Katzkin seats, I guess to get genuine 100% leather seats I'd being paying much more than the $1400 I paid for the Katzkin's.

 

Yeah, leather can be REALLY expensive. Classic car reproduction material is even more expensive. Seen the old man do a 68’ Nova, the material alone (his cost) was almost $70 a yard.
