Did either of your 1st Gen Tacomas have the frame replaced?

 

Also, I am looking at homes out in the York area just for grins; Found a new construction neighborhood offering a 2-story home for less than $200K. Not only is the floor plan quite small for a new 2-story home (1,440 square feet), but it does not have a basement!

 

And which one? White one, beige one, or both?

Also, obviously condo does not have a basement, and I’m willing to buy a condo as my first place; However, if I’m buying a house in Pennsylvania it damn well better have a basement!

 

The attic in my parents’ house is useless; All useable space is taken up by the furnace and HVAC ducting...

 

I want a ranch house!

 

I noticed the drivers side frame up in the front is all wrinkled up, I'm sure it was smashed and pulled, the doors don't seal too well either.

 

The type of rebuilt/salvage vehicle you buy is one that has severe superficial damage and/or airbag deployment; Vehicles with structural and/or water damage are to be avoided!

 

I was trying to steer him to vehicles that had superficial damage like a bunch of dents from hail or even a crunched door. He could get a much more reliable vehicle for less money and then fix all the cosmetic stuff, he looked at me like I was crazy.

I miss the pre-2005 Rheem/Ruud units...

 

I don’t know enough about HVaC stuff

 

Rheem and Ruud air-conditioners made from about the early 1980s until 2004 had a distinctive “stamped octagon” fan grille, and from about 1992 onward the compressor was located in an isolated and insulated section of the unit to reduce noise; These units were both incredibly quiet and extremely reliable! My Grandma’s 1987 Rheem Classic X just gave up the ghost last year!

 

The furnace guy wants to put a Rheem system in my house.
