Aisin or oem only. Don’t skimp on parts for the v8. If the belt breaks or skips your putting an engine in

I was gonna change mine for good measure, then I remembered this little beauty is still hanging around... So maybe we will see what else fits

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G0PQPL2 - OEM Toyota thermostat

This is all the stuff I got for my 2003 4runner with the 2uz. Still have to do it but I'm doing some other shit at the same time.

80 series rear brakes are designed for an LSPV, the trucks come with one. For a Wheeling truck and more static setting BPV is nice though, makes everything very predictable.

So, looks like the plastic intake I got off ebay is junk. Looks like the motor it was on overheated and melted the mounting surface of the intake. I didn't flip it over when I first got it so only caught this now while I was starting to clean shit.

Yeah, was definitely going to do OEM/Aisin, not gonna cheap out. Just wanted to make sure the Aisin kit was a good one or if there was something better out there.

Thanks for the links, that's the same kit I was looking at. Forgot about the serp belt, gonna replace that as well since it's the original o_O

I suppose I could make a bracket that comes off the bed so I can dial in the LSPV to specific settings

I have the rod cut off my lspv and its zip tied up out of the way. I like strong brakes and it works perfectly. I had an adjustable BPV that leaked like a fountain no matter what I did, so I sold it (telling people it leaked and someone still bought it). I like toyotas in that evreything seems to just work together, factory booster and master cylinder works great still with rear disc brakes and tundra brakes upfront.
