If anyone's interested, I've been tying flies because it's something easy to do on EMS. Anyone want a few random ones? They aren't amazing but they aren't bad. I've been following the orvis video since that's the kit my sis bought me.

I tie some of my own flies. Mainly the ones I use for musky/pike and streamers for smallmouth and/or trout. I don't tie small trout flies because I don't have the patience.

Are we thinking of the same Wisconsin? Trails by my place haven’t been really useable in the last few years. When they are open here they’re only open for a week maybe two. Right now they’re just mud stripes in the fields.

The trails around here were open, I think. I did see the trail groomer out last week. I haven't seen or heard any snowmobiles using trails near me.

I've seen a few around Madison. Been short on snow overall though.

Add the weight then figure out the suspension to accommodate the weight.

I just got a new dash cam I need to put in. I’ve had the v1 gen3 for the last two years and it’s been pretty great.

Hey dudes - does anyone know of a shop that applies undercoatings, like Krown (or other non-oil based), in the greater SE WI area? Looking at options with more longevity than annual Fluid Film applications, just curious if any of you have had positive experiences.

@Shellshock is the man to get that done for you! check out the work he did under his rig (same color as yours i think)
i will even roadtrip to help out if you need, if you have a decent compressor it makes it a bit more convenient
do you have some ramps to get one side up a bit higher if you're still stock

i have not yet heard of any product that lasts for more than a year
the CF 3000 stuff from Canada is suggested to reapply every 18 months

but FF is the TW standard it seems

Appreciate the input dude! I don't have ramps, but those wouldn't be difficult to come by. Overall I'm just doubtful that Toyota took steps towards preventative frame treatment, even with my '19, so just taking a look at options for longevity.

Not sure what has real longevity. I’ve had great luck with fluid film, doesn’t take too much work, and it’s not a bad idea to crawl under there and get a good luck around while you are applying to see if there are any issues.

pics of wot you got could be helpful

this is one from a 2nd gen, the red shows up better than black
    clean and clear

basic dirt accumulation, no washing yet to see how well product sticks in this area
winter has been very mild, not much snow at all here, couple inches or so

    IMG_0268.jpg

    IMG_0267.jpg

i really could not do much underneath because the frame was rubber undercoated
but did hit all the suspension, rear axle, driveshaft, etc.
basically the works, the whole package as i could do

I just bought 4 rhino ramps and 6 aerosol cans of fluid film. Pressure washed everything then applied fluid film. I only used 3-4 I think.

Just make sure when you apply FF it's not on a day before a rain storm or heavy snow. I've had a fair bit wash off pretty quickly. more washed off from the areas that are constantly battered by water and debris overtime, but that's to be expected.
