Hey there. Anyone have a nice looking iPhone holder that would be to the left of radio? I would prefer it didn’t clip into the vent and block it. Thank you

Pop sockets work great if you don’t mind putting one on the phone. By holder hand held to that part of the dash for about 2 years now without falling.

I usually stick my iPhone 7+ in the left cup holder closest to the wireless charging pad. It never moves, fits perfectly, and its a great spot because it's not as distracting as a vent mount.

If you don’t mind drilling a small hole in the plastic then you can piece together something like this. Very sturdy and in a convenient spot

Ok...thank you everyone. It gives me some ideas. I really don’t want to put a hole in the trim piece, so I may have to compromise a bit

Hondo mount. Doesn’t fully block the air vent (just can’t open 100%). Rock solid.

I made one that I only use during the winter when I travel to see my folks every week. As soon as summer comes around I'll take it off, and screw a 1/4-20 bolt in the hole and go back to using my favorite phone holder.

Hondo + Trakform Spring Loaded Mount. Setup doesn’t budge over any terrain holding an iPhone 11. Perfect position in my opinion. I don’t trust magnets near such an expensive phone, and didn’t want an ugly Ram mount in my face.

Magic mount. Got mine at target. Uses a magnet in your phone case. Love mine

Taco Garage DMM. Best mounting system with zero vent blocking and can hold more than just a phone. Then you can use any kind of actual phone holder you want (hondo, ram mount, they offer a couple different ones, etc). I love it and ever person that gets in my truck asks about it.

I second the Taco Garage DMM. I absolutely love mine and mounted this wireless charging mount. I love the setup and get a lot of compliments on how clean it came out.

when I off road I have a mount for my baofeng radio and the speaker mic I can quickly screw on as well.

I have a ProClips mount, it works amazingly and is very solid but it obscures about half the vent and the buttons on the left side of the radio, but it’s a give and take. Unless you mount it so high that it’s obscuring your vision of the road, then it’s going to block something.
