Also, you said your A/C is subpar, right?

I wouldn't call it SubPar, I would call it adequate but it is cranked to keep it that way.

@PennSilverTaco I noticed this truck does much better than either of my prior 2nd Gens. My old 1st Gen was the most consistent as it damn near always got 21.67 except for highway travel where it would drop to 19.

My A/C is cold enough but I feel like it could be more powerful at times; When I initially start the truck on a really hot day, I must keep the A/C cranked for a long time for the truck to be comfortable...

However, if I'm on a really long drive, it eventually gets so cold in my truck that I have to turn the A/C from the highest setting to the second lowest setting!

I think the fact that I have a regular cab really helps with the efficiency of my truck's A/C!

Even after the accident where it should have been totaled?

Yeah my truck is the same way, after a god 20 or 30 minutes it will start to get comfortable, the larger cab does not help.

Yeah, I hand calculated every fill, even after that awful accident it still managed to keep it up. All of my Tacoma's do better during everyday driving than on the highway where the drop about 2 MPH which is ass backwards.

Your wrecked Tacoma would have made an excellent trail rig or demolition derby truck!

And I got insane trade in value to boot, I bought it new for $21,100 and got $17,100, also got $3K off the sticker on the 2008.

That truck actually belonged to a member on here; It's a rather sad story...

Apparently he accidentally let the insurance lapse, and then wrecked it, when he still owed a ton of money on it!

@PennSilverTaco These Tacoma's have been fantastic values, paid $25,500 for the 2008 and got $20,000 at trade along with the same $3K off the 2015 sticker.

Sticker on my RC was like just under $18K: My dad paid less than $15K for the truck brand new, and it's still worth more than $9K despite having over 100K miles and having a couple fender benders in its past!
