Great flaps at a great price. Have them too. @JeffreyEv any rubbing on the front flaps?

Not too bad, I stuck mine on dry. Tbh if I were to do it again I would do the top half of each wheel then move the car one half rotation and then do the other half of each wheel... stick the bottom part of each decal to get it lined up...

they rub a bit, not enough to make really any noise but when I got out and checked I noticed some scuffs.

They are sturdy, but at the same time have some bend if needed. I went from no flaps look, thinking why that’s why I wasn’t into them at first.. going to try to get used to them.

Installed new Falken Wildpeak AT3W with some SCS Ray10s in a 285/75R16 yesterday. Also threw on some icon RXT stage 1 AAL in place of the stock leafs.

HAHAHA. I am from the US and live and work in Thailand. There aren't any Hilux sites that are good. So I figured "Hey Its really a Tacoma for the most part" so I joined.

Send me a PM when you are coming this way. I will still be here...

Just finished installing my front and rear Baby Shark (yeah yeah I know weird name) dash cam in my Hilux. Both front and rear resolution is 1080p. Its flush mount and does not hang down on suction cup. Night vision is quite impressive.

What I like about this dash cam is you can see both front and rear vids in split screen if you want. You can download all vids to your phone via Wifi connect. It also separates the files as "A" is front cam and "B" is rear. Over here in Thailand you need a dash cam. The mix of scooters and vehicles is high and they dive bomb around you all the time and if they take a header they always blame the driver of the vehicle. When I go wheelin I mount my Hero 7 on the wheel opening on the driver side and now can have 3 different viewing angles to look at.

It's almost impossible to avoid hitting someone in SE Asia. I've never seen so many people wear out a horn and use their bumpers to move you in my life. I'm not sure about Thailand, but in the Philippines when someone is hit and killed. The driver is usually responsible for paying the family a lump sum and you get a slap on the wrist. It happens fairly often.

As Mr. Coombs, my driver's ed instructor, said,"one car-length for every 10 MPH." Personally, I usually follow this rule. I have seen too many bumper bumps(or worse) in heavy traffic moving less than 25 MPH. I never understood squeezing together so tightly as you suggest. Are we getting there a few minutes faster? Or when the texter bumps the first car, and two more cars follow suit because they were right on top of each other, do we get there a half hour later?

I was taught the same thing as well, but it really isn't relevant in bumper-to-bumper traffic. The reason being all you do is leave a gap that two or three cars will fill constantly. I commute in Houston daily and it's extremely frustrating to get stuck behind an inattentive driver leaving major gaps will playing on their phone.

If you aren't in that big of a hurry, then stick to surface streets and avoid the interstates. If you want to play on your phone, stay off the roads PERIOD!

I’m not a fan of the black wheels. However yours is a damn fine looking rig! I came really close to buying a black pro but decided to save a little money and go with the white sport instead. ( I should’ve bought the pro)

Update on my Pro Grill and the TSS. After a few weeks the TSS doesn’t come on saying to clean sensor. Just needed a little patience. Thanks everyone for their input. FA0C8254-F22A-4649-A1A3-9B5DC840904D.jpg
