    @Crionchip what color tires do you want to run?

    You can go bigger if the tires are purple, but only if the letters are out.
    Green is the smallest though; ou'll have to swap to 4-lug wheels, and flex on pebbles.

    White wall only matters if there's a yellow line too... Those are only in 14" wheel options, so the A/C must be bypassed for the horsepower gain to be had.

    You can easily bypass the A/C with a dab of JB Weld, but I can't tell you where it goes. Searching for it will hel........wait! There's no time!

    I'd say it depends on your tire size really Joe...larger tires=smaller sliders. Smaller tire= longer sliders, since there's more room between the tires you know :rolleyes:

    OP...gotta do some digging man. There is a lot of great information in here. If you want to run larger tires than stock there will be some risk/ work....since you don't have time...stay stock

    I think it was Jerry that was saying if you have a switch pro you can go up a tire size. Takes up less space along the inside of the fender well, thus leaving more space for larger tires. Made sense to me.

    I run 37s because I have a long bed no lift stock sport wheels long beds have bigger wheel wells you guys should know that so when you get your new frame get the fender stretch mod no rubs evev with mud flaps you will love the stock ride and jump up 5 MPGs then put snorkel on the scoop adds at least 31.6 Hp come on bros

    This might be misleading. They have “longer” wheel wells. The depth is the same so, offset may be a factor when compared to tire width.

    But seriously, 37s will fit but mudflapz gotta come off. Before u get alignment only fill to 30psi cause tread pattern has to seat against cab mount properly.

    But... but... what is better for a dedicated off road truck that is also a daily driver, disc or drum brakes?

    I mean it’s going to be purpose built for off roading, so tire noise and gas mileage isn’t a huge issue. However I do want the tires to still be quiet enough for the baby to sleep on road trips and I don’t want to have to fill the take every week just for my daily commute to work.
