glad to hear. I think if Toyota actually see the problem they try to get a solution.

but I might not have a good dealership.
First Oil change the guy tighten the drain bold to much damaged the seal. And my brand new Tacoma was leaking oil I was super angry...

that’s what you get with free Oil changes. Everything included in a package zzzzz

I would avoid dealerships for maintence at all costs. Better to do it yourself, at least it will be done right.

If you floor it at low speed/low rpm the engine will buck a little.

So i drove OPs truck today. Can confirm there is a slight vibration/shaking at lower rpms when applying more load to the engine.

He has been using 94 and said its much better now, but this 3.5 does not need 94 to run properly. The dealer said to use 94, what a load of shit.

When i got in my truck after, i noticed a difference, it was much smoother acceleration.

I have no clue what that could be, any ideas? :notsure:

    Fuel pump maybe?

Edit: he drove mine and noticed a difference right away.

Almost sounds like a motor mount gone bad. Or loose.

My sport below gave me tons of problems from taco ticks to engine miss fired and trans issues with the tail pipe filled with black sooth like a diesel. Every time I took it to the dealer, they told me it was normal. Traded in to the TRD OR and run smoother and faster than a Camry. Taco ticks is gone, trans shift is smooth, sounds of the tail pipe is louder than the engine, and no more black sooth.

One thing to maybe try, is take the neg terminal off the battery for 30+ mins.
Puts the ecu back to the default settings and into re-learn mode.
