You know, this got me to thinking. Went and looked...I think if I was running stock size 265/70/16s, instead of the 245/75/16 Winter set of Blizzaks on 2nd Gen rims, the chains would not clear. Glad you brought it up, 'cuz I was thinking I'd go up to OR stock size when these wear down...probably will stay with the 245/75/16 size for Winter tires for that very reason now.
Again, I owe you and appreciate your vast knowledge and willingness to share it.

Good morning, everyone! A day off for me today - if the winds cooperate we'll be heading out to crew another balloon flight this morning.

Enjoy the day wherever you are!!!

When I got mine it had stock size tires on it. I tried a set of chains on the front and they would not clear. A thinner set might be ok, but I'm too cheap to try that. Would not have bought it if I had known.

So I just got a email from the Prez of our company. He wants to meet to discuss something important , I know he's going to ask me to postpone my retirement. Fat chance.

Good morning, everyone!! Looks like we're going to get some wet stuff - nothing so far but at least there is some rain headed this way..maybe some wet snow, too.

Back to work for me - looking forward to not having to post that comment before too long. Oh, and I applied for Medicare yesterday.

^^^^^^ This! And set an end date. Or just say aloha.

Boss might be too lazy to find someone. Or maybe just figuring out that that need to. Either way it doesn’t make them look too good.

Looks like a good area for snowshoeing, but I sure wouldn't want to plow through waist deep snow or even knee deep snow for long. It is just too much work.

    Cheers 4BYTOY
