Im leaning towards doing that as well. Probably makes the most sense.

    That is VERY helpful:D

Other than the dent next to the taillight it looks like it should come out easy. Try the upside down CO2 can and boiling water. I forget which goes first but it works pretty well. Also a plunger haha

I would love to find someplace local (Woodstock is close enough) for a beginner road/trail drive. Someplace that I can see some cool sights in a stock TRD Off-Road. (No winch or extra tools required.) At the same time, someplace that I wouldn't want to take a mini-van.

Is the Route 758 / Mine Mountain Road appropriate for me?

Seriously you could've taken a minivan on that route I took Saturday. I never used 4wd. I wasn't going wheeling...I hardly ever do that alone just in case something happens. It was more just a ride in the mountains.
Peter's Mill run is probably the most basic beginner's trail around here. It's less than a mile from where I was Saturday, but I didn't go there...they may actually have it closed for the season

Glad you are ok first off.

I'd take a suction puck to it a couple times and pull the dent out best you can. Then wait till May for a possible Memorial Day sale and buy your self a new HC bumper.

Double check your insurance and look at your deductible and accident forgiveness. Did you get a ticket or anything or was this a "quiet" incident? Who is your insurance through? All these questions determine if your insurance is gonna try to get you. As @Rome604 stated, because of age they will try an get you no matter what.

Shit, I'd buy one. Not because of the movie/brand advertisement, I've just always wanted a Defender. I would rather have an older one, but since they go for just as much as the new ones... Oh, and throw in one of those sweet Triumphs while your at it!

Howdy folkers! Sorry I went missing for a few weeks. I had a really intense project at work that demanded all my time (my last 2 time cards (2 week) had 120 and 172.5 hours respectively)!!

    Did I miss anything?

Well... When you go in and start talking about retirement, and get an offer to work from home instead...
