Glad you’ve had a nice trip. Reminds me of a trip I took with my wife to St. Marten in early 2000s. Only setback on our trip was after a snorkeling trip we did. They had served rum punch on the boat and she drank way too much. Out of commission the rest of that day

    Thanks man it’s been great!

That stuff will definitely sneak up on you!
They served the same to us on both trips. We limited what we drank on the boat but they offered the remainder to us (over a gallon) both times which we gladly took and drank later!

My discretion as moderator and some uneven bans after Ho’s that were less severe so it’s been adjusted substantially.

Cool that you Mods take so much into consideration with these things. Seems you all really try to keep things fair while keeping the true fuckwits away.
Thanks for everything you guys do in here! :)

    Good Morning. :)

    Hey @ReefSR54X4

Just saw this on the news.
700 pound black bear killed by a bow hunter in New Jersey.

    https://www.fox5ny.com/news/700-pound-black-bear-shot-in-new-jersey-sets-world-record

The article says it's a bowhunting world record.
    Except it ain't so.

Check out this item from 2010 of an 879 pound bear shot by a bowhunter in PA:

    https://www.poconorecord.com/article/20101119/News/11190341

It so happened that I remembered the 2010 article and found it in less than a minute.
If I could find it so easily, the "reporter" for the first article could have found it too.
    I mean, really?

Nevertheless, it's pretty cool that New Jersey has enough black bears to actually have a season on them.

A generation ago, I distinctly recall a Game Commission officer giving a talk at our club.
A couple members told him about bear sightings.
(I myself had seen sign, though I hadn't actually spotted one.)
He assured us there were no black bears in our county. o_O

Within 5 years pictures were appearing in the local paper of bears in peoples' back yards.

    I'm simply devastated.
Whom can one believe any more?
Live as long as me and, if you're not totally stupid, you'll become a bit cynical as well.
