Only if they aren't black. I hate this black wheel trend that has been going on for a long time. Good thing it's not my truck and you shouldn't care about my opinion :D

Oh that sucks! I had a customers hood close on my air ratchet one day because their struts gave out. That one bent the hood though.

At least it wasn’t my head!

I had my hood come down on my hand one cold morning. Didn't push up all the way for it to hold and as I went to adjust the headlight, bam! At least my hand was too cold to bleed and just went numb.

Why are people still doing the deck plate mod? I could swear I read somewhere it was tested and determined ineffective.

It helps dirty the air filter effectively faster.

Makes it sound more like a Dyson with less throttle response.
At least those are my findings from doing the reverse deckplate mod. (New Factory Airbox) Better throttle response and a better sound without it.

my deck plate is a noticeable improvement. I cap and uncap when cleaning my engine bay or running the forest roads here with dust. Definitely can tell better response uncapped.

I will admit with the dusty AZ weather I clean my filter a lot, but meh takes 5 min to clean the K&N.

    To each their own

It prob makes more of a difference on the 2.4 & 2.7L motors.
I liked mine, but now keep it closed cause I would rather not change the filter as often. And I found myself forgetting to put it on when I went wheeling.
