I have the Propex in box, but thinking of a more permanent mount. Where are you thinking of mounting it and would be great if you could take some pics of the process? I've heard some folks have mounted it on driver side back where that stupid storage spot is - they remove that and mount the propex on the outside of that - sounds interesting, but have yet to see how it is done.

So my plan of attack is a little different. I’ve ordered a custom goose gear box that the propex unit will sit in permanently, I run my fridge on a slide on the drivers side and will move the fridge over just enough to mount the propex in the box and mount it permanently against that wall near that little cubbyhole, and use the cubbyhole to sent the exhaust out. Goose gear is slow to get that parts I need, but as soon as I do I will throw some pics up.

How about bighorns or black hills?

I don’t know if I can deal with the tourist nightmare of Colorado and Moab another year in a row.

Hoooly crap that thread was brutal, oof. Forum is full of assholes sometimes.

Super interested in how you do the propex build, @Taquita. Had no idea Goose Gear did custom work like that.

Turns out I have quite a bit of time to think through my buildout - the habitat they had in stock turned out to have been already sealed and so painting it would have been a bunch of extra $$ disassembling and a PITA. Thought about a wrap or leaving it bare but was pretty set on the paint match because I am a vain motherfucker, so now I am in the queue for a new build. Still should be plenty of time for summer. :D

Thanks its nice but changing rapidly. Word is out and alot of people are moving here which sucks. Putting up houses everywhere and traffic. Basically for me all the reasons i retired here are no longer viable. Part of the reason we are hittin the road.

Bighorns and black hills would be amazing, and am willing to travel at least 12 hours in a any direction for a camp trip. Keep in mind I’m local to Colorado and know the area well and have plenty of private reserve areas that people don’t go into. I would share up some northern Colorado spots that I have found on my adventures.
