    Yes.
Can’t go wrong with a Suzuki DRZ400, had one for about 6 months and loved everything about it. Prices from 3-7k I’m in the market for another one now as a second bike for some more comfort around town

Always liked the WR250X, they make a turbo kit for them too. Next bike I get will probably be a supermoto.

I get it is not cheap to do so however the world of power upgrades is pretty wild for those things

some nice takegawa parts and that little grom will not be shy on speed :bikewheelie2:

I would guess athena has some go fast bits for the grom as well, or could always drop in an anima daytona motor

I was reading about the cbr300 engine swap. That would be absolutely amazing in a grom

my only gripe on something like that would be the weight

a daytona anima v4 is a serious little bastard of a power plant, and keeps the weight real low

youtube have some videos of 600-1000cc motors grafted into groms, pretty whacky lol

Lol @ this guy on OfferUp. I have my crf posted for $2.6k. Guy goes “have you looked up the NADA resale prices? I’m wondering why yours is priced much higher than others”

apparently this guys never sold anything in his life because who’s going to list something for the lowest price they want to sell for... that’s not how selling works lol

I feel this, but I need a better way to break the bead myself. Damned spoons are a handful!

Given my needs that one might do. All I need is to do the taco and ninja, so it might be worthwhile for something to use a few times then resell.

I have this that I use to break beads, packs up fairly small so I can take it with when I'm on trails/longer trips. Takes a few uses to get it down, though, as it isn't the most intuitive device.

    Edit..

Just saw your last post, if it's for home use probably not the best tool for you.

not price bashing just playing devils advocate here a little, in all honesty the used bike market is kinda flooded
I always tell people to hold out for their asking price, and the person who sent you a text should prob go buy one of the clapped out sub 1k$ bikes...

but.... your bike albeit clean and fantastic, is a tough sale at over 2,500 asking price

I do agree it seems people do not like to haggle as much as before, I think the internet and the buy it know press enter options has really messed with the art of price haggling on a private sale

I get what you’re saying, but I intentionally priced high because of low ballers. I had it listed lower but got like 5 offers within an hour for like 1k. So I bumped it up. If there’s a serious buyer, they’ll haggle on price a bit and they can feel like they won, and I’ll have won too because I got what I was expecting to.

edit: and to add, KBB and cycle trader has it right around $2.6k

Yeah, Don't need a trail solution yet. I'm not at the point where I can do big solo adv journeys on the bike. Gonna need to pick up a proper KLR/DRZ/etc for that.

my neighbor will probably use it 1x per year. Actually I dont know why he is getting it. He has a ZRX1100 that we did a ZX11 head/cam swap on, but that was at least 2 years ago (in my timeline it was 4 bikes ago ). It will help us when we need to put new tires on the bikes, but he doesnt do any of his own car work and he isnt really into cars. He just messes around on the weekends when time allows.. I am more mechanically inclined than him
