Installed new headlights! Gave her a more aggressive look.

Brings that grill together with the front end. Would look good to black out the lower valance too I think.. but it’s subjective obviously.

    looks great!

Is the lower valance the piece directly under the headlight? I thought about plasti-dipping it matte black. In the near future I'm considering a steel front bumper, so the fog lights have not been changed yet.

I’ve mainly seen just this piece done. I’m aiming to do this myself as well as my badges and the chrome on my grille.

I never thought about that. Now that you mention it, it would look good matte black with the grill. Trying to decide if I want to the front bumper or rear bumper first.

Good to know. I have a 2012 and it wasn't there when I bought the truck. I'm the second owner.

These trucks are kinda weird with some things like that. Some have things others don't and I'm not speaking model specific stuff either

The front Bilsteins were installed at the top setting and the AAL didn't have a "lift rating". I was hoping the stance would be right.

At the moment, when I measure from the ground the the middle of the fender well - the rears are about 1/2" lower than the front. This is with the canopy on but without the RTT. Because my load varies, I might install an airbag system or add a 1" block to help with the stance. Still deciding - but very open to input.

thanks man! yeah had to drill cab and camper shell. Once you get past the fear of drilling into an airbag it's not so bad :bananadead:

Honestly not terrible with the right tools and LOTS of caution. If you are going to drill I recommend a set of step bits.

Ordered the small wire cover for the inner rear view mirror (#87818-04010).
I have the PT546-NU160 microphone kit (for my radio/nav install) and it keeps falling off the windshield (the double sided tape doesn't like the heat).
My idea is to attach the microphone to the wire cover and then put that in place.
