I have 2018 4x4 TRD Off-road. Great truck. After they did the transmission update at the dealer, drove like a great truck. Transmission shifts different than my last truck, but still a great truck. Just enjoy it.

I have a 2018 TRD OR 4x4. I love it. No problems. $28-31k sounds just about right for the year & mileage

I have a '18 TRD Sport and love it. I initially wanted a manual but settled on an auto and it shifts great especially after I got the TBS-0062-18 update. Really glad I went with the auto.
I think some spend way too much time dreaming up problems and not enough time enjoying their Tacomas.

3rd gen tacomas are great trucks! 16-18 might need ECU updates to "improve" the driving experience. 3rd gen is just refined 2gen tacoma, its just as reliable.

The tranny was programmed for fuel economy with 2 OD gears, a lot of people complain about the "busy" shifting on highways and hills. All they gotta do is limit 2 OD gears by going in S4 and good to go.

A lot of people dont understand how this tranny works, or expect it to be a race car because i guess some tacos have the skewp.

Tacomas have great resale value and reliability which is very important in a vehicle. Like others have stated, test drive is your best friend. I drove my buddies 19 off road and it drove beautiful.

I love my truck, it drives great, has plenty of power and looks great.

    Good luck buddy!

I own a 2018 off-road double cab and have had zero problems with it so far. I am about to hit 20,000 miles as well.
