Hello all! Bought a '10 Tacoma Reg Cab in April. Am technology challenged, like a big dawg! Know of anyone in the Harford County / Baltimore-metro region who is a XM Radio/Tacoma Guru who I can talk to? I'm thoroughly confused and Best Buy ain't worth a *$(#& for help. They all say different things when it comes to getting satellite radio in my truck. Not looking for any mod's to my factory stereo - it sounds good and don't want to change that, except for maybe rear speakers but that's my next nightmare! HELP PLEASE! Thanks!

Welcome to the boards. I'm located in the perry hall area, but don't have any experience with sat radio. Post in the audio forums and I am sure you will get a response from someone who has experience with sat radio in a 2010 tacoma.

Welcome, I am in Towson. You should have the antenna for Sat radio already, that would be the on above the rear slider on the roof. I think you only need the receiver and subscription and you should be set.

Welcome from Frederick, MD. There is tons of info on here. Use the "search" feature or you will be critized and be called an idiot.

    Hopefully not LOL

If after researching the web site for information it would be prudent to include a link to a thread that you researched but could not find an answer to your question.

I sure am glad that I installed XM in my Tacoma. It make the drive time more enjoyable plus the Baltimore and Washington Traffic channel helps out a lot for the PM commute.

Thanks for the advice folks! I gave up and called XM and bought the separate unit and installed. Love it! Will try and sell the fit kit on Ebay. Have a great day!

Hey thanks Daggertats! That's on my list. I'm really pleased with the stock system, but it's kinda weird not having music behind me as well.
