The BRWNTRD (Hasn't flopped yet)

Decided not to wait 6 years to get the reroute done on the BRWNTRD. Went to Ed Hanson's Muffler Service in Spring Valley. They knew exactly what I wanted to have done and I was on my way in 45 minutes for $125.


Also the first curb climb, don't mind that.

And on the way to the muffler shop some dickwad in a 3rd gen SR5 with pro badges and a bad case of worms merge into my lane without looking. Am I now gonna get lumped into those morons? The RR DIFF LOCK is coming soon so it will very Pro-ish.

Installed the Bullet Cover from @Anderson on Thursday to give the GFC a little breathing room when it gets installed. Not a terribly difficult install but you have to move a lot of plastic panels out of the way to drop the headliner.

And that means I have a shiny shark fin antenna cover for anyone that wants it.

 

The @ARCHIVE Shock Relocation arrived the other day. Packed just as good as the Hammer Hangers before and looking quite good in Grey.


@desertjunkie760 and I have a plan coming together for the install. The Hammer Hangers and crosstube will come off the War Wagon and get paired with Deaver U402 Stage 3 leaf springs and Fox 2.5x14 Remote Reservoir with DSC, P/N 980-06-103-1.


When the bed is off a DMZ Fab Frame Boxing Kit will get burned on. This should give me plenty of flex with the rear axle but not in the frame.

I've also got a CBI Group 31 battery box inbound that will get attached to the passenger frame opposite the gas tank to help prevent the body cracking up front that resulted in the surgery/early retirement of the War Wagon.

 

Does it render the XM useless?

 

Continued the fake pro mods with a TRD shift knob, it's basically a race truck at this point.

Also mounted the ARB Twin Compressor using a Slee Offroad Mount. Still need to wire it up, but I need @AY_ARONTRD to help with that.

 

Nope, just a shorter plastic cover. The 2.5 gen shark fin is a 2 piece setup with the top just a cover and the bottom has the electronics.

 

No interference with the intake tube in that position? It doesn't appear to and Lord knows there isn't much room in these engine compartments.

No interference but very little room to spare. It's a very well designed kit that makes excellent use of an otherwise wasted space.
