That is also an option, flipping the one from the passenger side to the driver side!

So the issue would then be how to make a flipped passenger side handle sit flush on the driver side?

Well, the pillar will need to be modified and drill the holes for the handle. I would like to find all this pieces on a junkyard so I won't have to mess around with mine.

Sure you could buy the pass handle then just drill holes and mount on the drivers side. But the problem is the entire A pillar itself has molded standoffs that flow into the handle for a seamless/OEM look. There might be some halfway work arounds. Example: design/3D print some small base adapters that couture the stock handle on one side. And drivers pillar on the other. But still need to modify and drill holes in the long pillar panel. Unfortunately the only way for a factory look/fit/finish (and mass production) is to tool up a mold for it IMO.

If I had the printer and prerequisite intellectual know-how, I'd have the best looking contoured 3D bases, the likes of which the world has never seen.

It sounds like an excellent job for a 3D scanner to get the shape of the pillar trim and cut lines / templates.

If the right hand handle is symmetrical, a couple well made bases could make me happy? So, a kit of a handle, two bases, and template would be great for me.

No holes to drill, the top hole is already there and the standoff on the bottom would just need a Nut-Sert.

If you’re willing to try/ interested, I replaced the pillar trim in my truck from light grey to black. Therefore, I have a full set of light grey pillars + handle for experimental purposes. Thought about selling them, but this seems like a worthy cause for a donation.

Well, i guess we need to resuscitate this thread and see if anyone came up with a solution to the driver side handle. I tried to find one on eBay to modify but no luck. Anyone else?
