I wouldn't be surprised if she is less enthusiastic when she hits the teen mark. I hope I'm wrong, though!

I would estimate the granite block and steel stand are between 7k-8k lbs. This granite inspection block is only about half the size of some other ones we have in the shop.

This is the shop where I work. We have probably 8 of these large granite inspection blocks throughout the facility. Some bigger and some the same size.

Cherish these moments bro. Did a bunch of projects with my oldest daughter. Now she's off in college. My 11 y/o girl has no interest in such things...sigh.

I bet I watched the same video. Post-install tip: roll the front windows down before you disconnect the battery.

Cut the hook off the winch. Replaced it with a PVC pipe. Now, the winch is more hidden, and a D-ring hooks right up!

Got installed and wired up AVS Aeroskin Lightshield hood protector. Not bad, not perfect but overall I like it. Now its just about that longevity.. :)

No concerns about the magnet scratching the paint? I know that was a thing with the magnetic business signs back before wraps became an option.

My grandpa left those business signs on permanently. Of course, they wore into the paint. :notsure: The goat armor is not meant to stay on permanently. I'll remove it each time I wheel, or after two weeks. It sure does save the clear coat, and I plan on using a lot less Scratch-X to repair the pinstripes

BudBuilt Rock Rails installed, these things are beefy! I didn't want full on sliders so these were perfect. Still provides me with some protection if I bottom out on anything. I'm not hardcore, more overloading than anything... I had to remove the factory mud guards but they were going to get replaced soon anyway, they don't bend when needed... Excuse the very dirty truck, been slammed lately with other priorities...

Kinda have a thing for amber lights, plan on switching fogs to amber to match eventually :)

I was rocking a standard AVS hood protector (the dark smoke plastic with gloss finish that mounted underneath hood) which I liked but did not line up perfectly and when the hood would be shut closed left a minor dents on the top of my grill :-/

Adhesive bonding was not what I wanted (prefer the mounted protectors) but this looked cool, maintains same function as previous one (lets be honest, they don't deflect/protect THAT much), has a matte textured finish, and features a weeny but cool amber LED strip thats wired up to my DRL.

So now, its only been 4 days but the real question will be how long it holds up. Only time will tell :)
