Ok, now I want a 5-lug. But converted to electric using various EV car parts (Tesla drivetrain, Volt batteries, etc)

Yes it was dishpan. A group of drunk jeeps on 40's had a hard time on this and dug out everything. Luckily Toyotas are narrow and we could pick different lines.

    And manual hubs are life!

I thought it was. I almost flopped right where you did. That day two truck rolled, not in my group, but its notorious for putting trucks and jeeps to bed. Definitely a pucker factor trail and glad I did it, but not gonna risk that again.

For region I would say Southwest so you dont have the rusty frames these are known for, though I live in So Cal so I am biased.. But they are hard to come by in clean condition and still sell within days normally when they are posted.

The best bet is to search all online sources near you every day and soon as you see a clean one that they are not asking $8-10 grand for (not joking) go check it out as quick as you can!! It took me months to find this one and I thought it was a great deal at $4k. It even came with a nice shell I removed right away!

    20200121_161531.jpg

I did detail the interior and add the buckets, oem floor mats, and wipers already. Got an oem stereo I am adding aux too that will go in soon too, etc.etc..
    20200218_091526.jpg

Best of luck on your hunting!
