Nothing at the moment. Been hanging onto fender linders and mudflaps for a few months, but need to figure out a mounting solution. Most likely visit my brother in law, he is pretty good at that stuff from dealing with his drifting car and tubbing it.

I will definitely keep you in mind though, as it never seems like anyone else is doing anything like that on this side.

 

Maybe get enough people behind your cause and simply buy out some of the lands from the power's that be and turn them into the off-roading havens you'd like? But as for whether I'd like to see tax dollars go up to maintain the law enforcement and bureaucratic machine necessary to keep track of an increase in enforcement efforts for the enjoyment of what might be a somewhat smaller sector of society... not really.

 

I don't want to pay taxes to educate kids because I have none.

Huh, I drive 250 miles per week just back and forth to work. I should probably buy a DD that gets more than 14mpg..

That’s what I did. Retired the truck and got a car for a DD.
The FRS is in all reality a Subaru too.

 

Does it have the boxster motor?

Yes. FA20 horizontally opposed 2.0L 4 banger
6 speed manual & rear wheel drive.
Actually can get +33mpgs highway but I average about 26.
Has to take premium fuel though.
I DGAF about that though.

We'll see what the lineup looks like when this thing is paid off I guess. Not really saving money on gas by taking on another car payment tbh. The DD mod is peace of mind though.

I don't mean to be a wet blanket. On any issue there's going to be different opinions. Just having an interesting conversation in the day. Ultimately that's what our government's about, and if the froaders would get their way to go all over in PA, score one for democracy on their side. No biggie. So, more power to you @fe650 . You sound like you're going at this in an intelligent manner. And thank you for your service to our country, sir.

 

The problem, to me, is that it's public land. Public. We own it, it's ours. However, through a series of non-disclosed rules and reasons, DCNR treats it like anyone who's on public land (again, OUR land!) is a criminal.

They also sell our resources (timber, etc) to private companies to exploit for profit, but we can't drink a beer in the state parks.

 

Whereas I am passionate about the topic it’s borderline political discussion therefore I’ll refrain from commenting.
