Right but the batteries in Lebanon come from the UK. They are the European version optimas. I guess they get them from there because its closer.

I know, I was just pointing out you are using a UK site not a Lebanon one

Look man, I dunno, he linked to the UK Optima site and said he is in Lebanon. I'm guessing there is no Lebanonese Optima website.

Exactly why I asked if you can get a Tacoma in the UK, because it's probably safe to assume the UK site would most likely use vehicles available in the UK, not Lebanon....

You can have them shipped, like maybe if you're in the military or State Department. Those databases can list all sorts of things. I've seen Hilux and Prado listed in US ones. Guess it just depends on the source.

I had my tacoma shipped from Texas to Beirut. You can do it as a civilian.

Sure, that's an option too. Some people drive their trucks around the world, too. Far be it from me to question how or why, I was just taking your questions at face value.

I had a yellow top in my pathfinder and honestly it was a total waste of money.

It didn’t last any longer than the interstate that or replaced and a few times when i ran it down it didn’t have enough to start.
Maybe unless you need an agm to mount in an odd position but not worth it.

I've had a Optima Yellow top in my truck for almost 5 years. I've drained it to almost nothing (interior light on) and it recharged fine. I've beat it off road for hundreds of miles here in Utah and it just won't die.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
    Myth

I always find it funny that on a Tacoma page people like to say that quality shits the bed when production moves to Mexico... as more and more Tacomas are built in Mexico.

What actually happened is other dry cell batteries hit the market, and the Pre-Madonnas that always have to have the newest, shiniest, latest, greatest thing on the market started talking shit about the original, and that happened to be right about the same time Optima moved production to Mexico.

20190112_213248.jpg I've run Optimas in nearly a dozen different vehicles since the 90s. Single battery set ups, dual battery set ups, set ups for offroad, set ups for large stereos... the only problems I've seen have been either due to a fault in the charging system, or installers that didn't know how to wire dual batteries.

My current set up... 2 years... 14v all day, every day, on both batteries.
