I've got a guy at Caliper Collision off of I-10 and UTSA Blvd that does paint and body work for cheap, cash only. You could get the car looking like new and pocket some of the insurance money!

 

Can I just say this thread/group is one of the better things I’ve had in terms of knowledge gained, friends made, and creative ideas. For those of you who know Brandin Stevens, he just hooked me up with the deal of the century with a returned SOS slimline hybrid. I’m not even going to have to pay shipping because he is coming to SA on the 28th. I’m pumped.

Did some measuring today against winches, mounts, and under the truck. I THINK a second green XRC H20 10k will be the best option. The third gen is a full inch and 1/4" taller at the handle. I think I would have to mount it upside-down from the top of the frame for the best clearance and easiest access to the clutch handle.

Still working it out.

 

I’ve got a buddy Mike Ramirez over at Mike &Mike Auto reconditioning that would probably help you work it the way you want. I’ll attach a copy of his card at the end of the file. Just tell him Tom Saylor sent ya over to see him and tell him what you’re trying to do. I’m sure they’d be all about making it look as best possible while letting you shave some off the cost. Or get a quote from somewhere else and take the cash then give him a cap and ask him to get it as best as he can for that cost.
