You can also go to TiresPlus as well, they accept Firestone Lifetime as that's where I go because FireStone apparently doesn't work on lifted vehicles.

Yeah this was a Tires Plus, because the closest Firestone is Mall of Georgia.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
You should totally take orders from people on that. I bet people would bite for sure. Who doesn’t want a real hidden winch.
I would like to do this to the back of my FJC.
ORDER #1 (Hidden Winch plate for FJC rear). You can keep the truck as long as you need for mockup/install.

You been to this place before and had alignment done? Maybe she's the idiot and doesn't understand the technical stuff. Could just be the front desk secretary...

I plan to use 1/4 turn fasteners like those used to secure body panels on race cars so it is super easy on and off for the cover

Nope, not to this one. But when I questioned her she said let me ask the tech, and then he said the same thing. First she told me that they couldn't adjust caster or camber.

I tend to ask how long their alignment tech has been doing alignments. If he's new, I ask if I can set an appointment for when their most experienced guy is available.

Firestone does the alignment on my truck. I also have the lifetime deal.

Thats not a bad idea. I called the other Tires Plus in town and told him what happened. He just said it was strange, and got my info to plug into the computer. He asked me where I took it and I told him the other tires plus in town, he said that's strange, no alignment shows up in the system at all, and it should.

I set up to take it over to him tomorrow around lunch, hopefully with better results.

That's just what the closet FireStone said to me, so I just went to an even closer TiresPlus. So it all works out, just think that FireStone didn't want the hassle of a lifted truck :notsure:

I had a big O tire manager tell me that they don't adjust the LCA cam bolts to fix an alignment for one of their unlimited for 3 year alignment deals.

They loosened, adjusted and tightened them by hand instead of removing the stock skid to torque them properly. Took me at least a month to figure out what the popping noise was... Oh, play in those cam bolts that they didn't torque... And then water got in there and seized them up real nice.

I'm hoping that since I already told this guy for tomorrow what happened, he knows what is going on and will either do it right or tell me they can't do it. I am pretty sure it just takes adjusting the LCA cams, which should be no problem since I got new LCAs when i put the 884s on (had the bolts all seized up).

    4Runner advice needed:
We are looking to get the wife a new car. Will be a 4runner. Probably used 2016-17. We have found some in the 33-34k range with 13k miles or some in the 30-31l range with around 30k mileages.
I think we are looking for something under 30k miles 2016 or newer. 4wd. No 3rd row seating. Not a fan of chrome trim packages, and would like part time 4wd, not full time 4wd (limited models are like this right?).
Also, don't know if the trd 4runners have rear lockers but if so, we would like that also. Not sure about leather interior or cloth, but would like a sun roof and heated seat if possible.

What model or trim am I looking for guys? Just an sr5 model? Are there any 4runners with lever transfer case shifters and not knobs?

Thanks in advance guys. Wife's current ride is a lifted xterra offroad (rear locker version) on 285's. So the new 4runner will probably get a small lift as well.
