How to make grille lights turn on with the engine

I have my grille lights wired to turn on with my head lights, I would like to wire them to turn on when I start my engine (on with or without headlights on). I’m still learning and I am new to electrical can anyone help?

You can tap the wire into the drl wire behind the headlight assembly so it turns on with the drl.

 

But then it'll turn off when headlights are selected...

 

I don’t drive the sport and I’m not familiar with the headlight but aren’t the ones you have the led stripe and I thought the drl stays on with the low beam?

 

2 wires feed the DRL, pink on Left Side & Blue on Right Side (Parking Lights) and green on both sides DRL. The DRL's loose juice when headlamps are selected, but stay "ON" with the Parking input. (dimmer).
So the tap input choice, if it's the DRL circuit connector is the neither, since the OP wants ON when engine ON.

Maybe the 2020 version has changed...maybe not.

Is there any way to do it through an add a fuse in the fuse box like I did originally with the headlights?

 

Yes, if you select a IGN fuse in the cab and run the wire to the engine room space...

 

So just put the add a fuse over to ign ? Nothing else has to be done?

 

If all you want is for the grill lights to be ON with IGN, then yes. Once vehicle OFF, lights are OFF also.
