    hello all,
Looking for some opinions on exhaust mods. I have a 2019 Taco and I'm looking to give it the best deep, throaty sound possible. I've listened to some videos on line but it's very difficult to tell which ones are a deeper, richer sounding exhaust tone so I'm looking for some help and asking what folks here have done and like the best. I'm thinking that duals will look the best so I'm leaning that way but definitely wouldn't mind staying with single exhaust if I could get a good sound and save some $$$! Hoping to gain a little HP too!
    Thanks

You may have some success looking in the regional group near you where you can meet up with some folks and listen to their exhaust. Have you checked in there?

make a choice. sounds good, looks good, or performs good. if you could nail all three you'll be the first.

if anyone around here is saying they did it, they didn't actually know they didn't do it, their performance is missing whether they see that or don't.

my suggestion for you is to go for the deep throaty sound. which of course doesn't happen with a v6 but you can play along with a TRD catback. good sound, no real performance. but the sound is decent.

Research Jones Turbine Resonated. Great sound. Mellow on the highway definitely deeper around town.

I like the TRD Cat-back. Nice deep tone, without being too loud. No drone and looks good.

Thanks for the opinions. Just got into this truck a few months ago. Traded a gmc with a 5.3 and a flowmaster 40 series single exhaust. Loved the sound of that truck. I realize I can’t get that with the 3.5 but it definitely needs some better sound than stock. Trying to stay away from the “heard of bumble bee” noise that I hear from some.
Looking for deeper tones and I actually like it a little on the louder side.

I doubt this 3.5 will sound good with any aftermarket exhaust. Nissan, Chevy, etc have some decent sounding v6 exhaust notes but they certainly don't have a truck sound. You mentioned you came from a V8 with exhaust so no matter what you do you will be disappointed.

My vote - leave it stock and turn up your radio

I agree. It sounds the best with the best paint, SSM, and sounds even better with the DCLB!

I have a MBRP cat back. When I first installed it the thing was loud. Especially coming from stock. But after a couple weeks I've definitely gotten used to it and it seems like it has broken in so it's not nearly as loud. Great sound. Happy I went with it

TRD . I love mine. Has the low end growl not obnoxiously loud but more importantly no drone on the freeway. Drone may give you a headache .

Gibson. Sounds really good. Like a small V8 sound. I’m in western mass if anyone wants to check it out

I just happened across this nice exhaust system at work. Now do I put it under the truck or through the bed as a stack? Choices choices...
