Got them from Xotictech thru ebay. The kit came with 3 boxes total. 2 boxes that were marked H8/H9/H11. 2 lights in each box that looked identical. One of these boxes also came with 2 what look to be LED inserts. Sorta like you could replace the part of the bulb that actually lit up with these 2 different looking pieces. The pieces were shorter and stockier and just laying loose in the box. The 3rd box contained 2 smaller LED bulbs that had a shorter red base(fan) than the 4 in the other boxes. Of course no instructions in any box. Any ideas which ones go where?

I installed the 4 H8/H9/H11 bulbs in the Low and High beam lights. I installed the shorter red-based bulbs in the fogs. All lights seem to work and are bright as hell. Just wondering if I put them where they were supposed to go. The OEM low beams said H11 on them. The OEM high beams said H9 on them, The fogs also said H11. Confused is an understatement...

Not sure if you saw, but the second picture on the website shows which are which.

The insert might be something that makes the one set of the identical bulbs the high beams. I have no idea.

Hey thanks for the awesome response... Don't know why some folks can't just pass up a post rather than feel the need to post their ignorant responses. I didn't ask your opinion on what I bought, NOR do I give shit...

Of course I emailed Xotictech. But in my experience that's usually a 2-3 day turnaround on a response.

That's the weird part. That second pic, the fogs look like what I took out. I received 6 bulbs, 4 like the 4 in the pic with the larger grey fan housing, the other 2 were made the same, but have a shorter red fan housing.

Well, then I apologize. It seems like a lot(not all) of folks on here LOVE to put down what other people do to/with their trucks. Case in point, I read a post the other day where a guy asked the best 1-2" leveling kit for his Tacoma. WOW the responses he got!
Anyway, sounds like you know what you're talking about. I put the 4 bulbs labeld H8/H9/H11 in the low beam and high beams. The odd ones I put in the fogs. So I guess that is how you meant. I did not know about loosening any screw to adjust the pattern. Not sure I follow you there.

Wouldn’t his projectors properly aim the beams though? I assume They’re not in a reflector housing since he has a ‘19

Any idea what the extra 'inserts' are for? I can't find a reference to them on Xotictech's site. Like I said, I emailed them. But the response, If I get one, could take days...

I don't have a Tacoma anymore but I installed LED bulbs in mine when I did have it. But I used Beamtech from Amazon, H11 in all 3 locations. Worked flawlessly and much better than the factory halogen junk that came in the truck. I am no expert but I have done a lot of research about LEDs and the ones you bought have a COB chip and the Beamtech's have CSP Chips. The CSP chips throw a factory style light pattern much more so than the COB chips. The Beamtechs closely mimicked the factory length and spacing of the lighting filament thus allowing them to give a much better performance than some LED on the market. There are numerous videos on youtube about LED bulbs and using them in a reflector housing and projector housing so I won't bore you with the details. For the fogs and low beams I didn't need to adjust, or clock, the bulbs, the were simple plug and play. For the high beam lights I had to clock the bulbs to get the correct lighting position. Again, many videos on youtube about correct orientation of LED bulbs. If you don't get them clocked the right way they throw light everywhere and are useless. Hope this helps man!

It's finally dark out now, so I am gonna go out in a bit and see if the light pattern looks OK, or needs tweaked. Thanks for all the responses everyone!

My guidance is to get rid of those fog light bulbs, they are going to throw light all over the place.

No problem man, hope it helps in some way. Headlight Revolution is very informative on there, the just push the GTR Lighting brand more than anything, and it's pretty pricey. I actually have a mixture of GTR Lighting and Beamtech in my 2020 Ram.
