Yeah I would. But I'd only use 555 or OEM on uppers. Lowers for sure only OEM.

 

Quick google search says if its altered for the purpose of duplicating yes its illegal. But the nickle alloy doesnt weld very well, theres no way that quarter can be used for anything again.

 

Hope you get some miles out of the new aftermarket boot. No suspension lift? No lift is your best chance getting life out of an aftermarket boot
Edit: I should clarify, this is not from personal experience with my first gen. But based off others reports here and with a little bit of background these suggestions seem to be the most rational. That's all.

Well I take it you got it for super cheap then!

Even if it's not registered, you should still be covered.

My insurance covers me for 30 days for a recently acquired vehicle, even if it's not yet added to my policy. I bet you'll be covered the same way.

A lot of people think something like a windshield is super expensive; with the exception of HUD and other shit found on high end vehicles, it's the smaller pieces of glass that cost a ton of money to replace.

Eh, stuff can be fixed. I was pissed to see my powder coated wheel get boogered up by the tire shop. Ive cooled off a bit, their gonna pay to fix it. All it costs me is my time and gas money now.
