Cracked truck bed

I need to replace of fix the bed it cracked I have no idea how, I think I hit a bump when I had a bunch of wood in the back. Any ideas ? Its a lease i don’t know what they would charge for this

 

I would check for loose bed bolts.

Probably need to talk to a fiberglass repair shop for assistance. Since that is composite material, the prep for repair is going to make or break the actual repair. Anyone could patch over it, but if not prepped right, it wont hold.
Replacement will probably be expensive.

awsomr! I’m sure that’s less then what Toyota would charge and I could do it myself before I turn it in

 

Still under warranty but I don’t know if they would change it no cost truck has 26k on it

 

My bed is like 10 times worse but it still hasn't cracked all the way through. You'll be fine as long as you don't touch it with your bare hands

 

Note, the one I posted is not the right part number. The number posted by @specter208 is the 6 ft bed. Price is the same though.

 

At night, in the rain, right at closing time near the end of the month to someone with thick glasses.

 

My thoughts exactly. Doubt they will lift the mat and look.

I would ask an opinion from a dealer tech what they could do for you. You don’t want them to think you abused the bed.

 

It's a truck. Throw a bed mat in it if it bothers you I guess.....
