    The owner of the company I work for has a radio talk show every day. A guy from a company down the street stopped by today and brought something interesting he thought might be useful as a topic for the show.

    He brought in a Fisher Price "little mommy" "nurture love grow real loving baby cuddle & coo" doll.

    It talks when you turn the switch on and wave your hand in front of it.

    He says "listen real close, you're not gonna believe what this thing says".

    So we listen. 4 of us. Sure as hell the doll says:

    "Dumb Americans, Islam is the light Satan is King".

    The "dumb Americans" part is a little hard to make out. The rest is cyrstal clear.

    WTF????

    I've heard about it. From what I understand, FisherPrice just strung together a bunch of nonsense baby sounds that came out that way. It's similar to the whole backward masking craze in the late 80s, early 90s. Someone tells you what it says and because it's close, that's what your mind hears.

    Michael Shermer has a good video demonstrating how our minds trick us in this way using Led Zepplin's Stairway to Heaven (about halfway through the video). You don't hear most of the words but when you read what it's supposed to be saying, your mind lets you hear the words:
