Does anyone know if you can remove the vynil around the shifter and just replace it? Mine has a tear and want to redo it. Is it just pulled through and screwed to the plastic?

Is it easy to replace and what’s best to replace it with? I wanna go black instead of the grey. Just any one of them on Amazon be fine?

Lots of replacements you can find online. This was an aftermarket shift boot I bought off eBay.

Omg that interior screams 80s Nissan. So funny how each Japanese automaker had a very distinct 80s interior style

My Nissan boot is different, but when I stripped the 5-Lug it’s simply a metal frame wrapped in fabric held in with plastic clips.

The dash is pretty unique I’d say. Lol.

Very, and cool too. One of the first all digital that I remember. So funny. Looks like the interior is really clean in the pic. Nice work

The 280zx beat everyone in 1979 to Digi dashes. But the turbo 4runner one was kinda neato

Only if it works. It’s actually broken in this picture, and so are 90% of ones on the road. The gallons readout is broken, and the Tach shows that the engine is going at an excessive speed.

The only reason mine sorta works is because the old owner was an Electrical Engineer and re-flowed the power supply for the cluster.
